They were living in Assumption County, Louisiana, USA, next door to Emma's parents, Augustee and Ireine Landry. They had no children.
16		Philogene Simoneaux family - 1880 US Federal Census Philogene Simoneaux and his wife Emma, nee Landry, lived in the 10th Ward, Assumption, Louisiana, USA. The youngest as yet unborn daughter of Phil and Emma was Aimee Alphonsine, who later married Arthur Patch, Dave's great uncle by marriage.
17		Philogene Simoneaux family - 1900 US Federal Census Philogene Simoneaux and his wife Emma, nee Landry, were living with 3 of their 5 surviving children, in Assumption County, Louisiana, USA. Their youngest daughter was Aimee Alphonsine, who later married Arthur Patch, Dave's great uncle by his later marriage. Philogene's name (line 9) was plainly unusual, to judge by the correction made on his entry!

19		Rose Louise Patch, 1930 US Federal Census Rose Louise, a cousin of Dave's mother, was living with her 'adoptive' parents, Bill and Ruth Lorch, who were neighbours of her widowed, sea going, father, Arthur. They also had a natural daughter of the same age as Louisa.
