Robert Ferguson marriage to Ellen Singleton 1906 Robert Ferguson married Ellen Singleton on 21 Oct 1906, at St Benedict Church, Everton, Liverpool. Why Ellen's father's name is given as John, I have no idea. It was Henry, he was a van man, and there was no John Singleton with daughter Ellen in Liverpool! |

A wedding couple: Robert Ferguson and Nellie Singleton, 1906 We believe this to be Robert and Nellie, and believe it to be taken in celebration of their wedding. The photo is in the possession of Rob Henon, Bob's grandson. Nellie was living with Rob's parents when she died in 1958, and this was probably one of a number that she had kept for many years. The photo was possibly taken on their wedding day, 21 Oct 1906. |

Photos | Nellie Ferguson nee Singleton and baby, 1 Oct 1916 This photo has the date 1 Oct 1916 written on the back. The baby may be Nellie's then youngest daughter Catherine, but Catherine was born late in 1915, and looks too young. So either the date is wrong or the baby is not Catherine - perhaps a niece? |
