The gravestone of John and Sarah Matthews.
Sarah died in March 1900, John in December 1906. Both are buried in the churchyard of St Thomas Church, Simpson, Bucks.
The gravestone inscription reads:
In loving memory
- of -
John Matthews,
who died December 25 1906,
age 78 years.

Also of Sarah,
wife of the above,
who died March 12, 1900,
aged 69 years.
------------
