Thomas Green marriage to Margaret Sharples, 1800
This was the first marriage of Margaret, Dave's 3* great grandmother. She and Thomas married at St Mary Church, Penwortham, Nr Preston, Lancs, on 2 Jun 1800.
The entry reads:
"Thomas Green and Margt Sharples both of this
Parish were Married in this Church by Banns
the second day of June in the Year One Thou
sand eight Hundred by C. Readshaw Officiag. Minister
in the Presence of Thomas Foster & Edwd: Tuson"
Thomas Green died 5 years later. In 1811, Margaret married Thomas Foster, Dave's 3* great grandfather.
